In a massive survey of over 170,000 verified renters, the National Multi Housing Council and Grace Hill Renter Preferences Survey Report found that 93% of renters would like an in-unit washer/dryer and air conditioning. High speed internet and quiet (noise reducing windows and soundproof walls) were up there, too.  Reliable internet service and hospitable neighbors who followed community rules were also high on the list. A majority of renters surveyed (85%) said they liked where they live.
